I don't do flowers.

I don't do floral anything.

With that being said...

I absolutely LOVE how my card turned out!

FLOWERS!

FLOWERS!

All my March projects will have flowers.  The Artisan box was FULL of flowery stuff.

WATCH OUT!!

Don't get used to it.

I was obviously channeling my inner Cathy when I created this card.
Obvi.

To create this awesome masking technique I did the following:
  • punch images from Post-It notes (to use the sticky back)
  • place randomly on watercolor paper and then color (paint?) away with the aqua painter
  • once dry, remove Post-It notes and VIOLA!  Lovely little flowers

 This gold flower is just 4 punched images.  Stick two together (wrong sides stuck together so the gold is on the outsides) then curl inward.  Curl the other two punched flowers outward.
Adhere together.

Ink: Calypso Coral, Jet Black StazOn Paper: Basic Gray, Very Vanilla, Watercolor Paper, Gold Foil
Accessories & Tools: Celebration Basics Kit, Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape, Aqua Painter, Banner Punch, Petite Petals Punch, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive
Other: Sewing Machine, White Thread, Hot Glue Gun (for the gold flower), black sharpie (for the doodles), post-it notes (for masking)
