Business Cards Can Be Cute Too!

I've been thinking a lot about what I wanted to post and a friend of mine said,"Just post about things people always ask you about."

The most recent question I got was how did I make my business cards?  If you haven't seen them, they. are. awesome.  Seriously!  I pass them out like candy, so if you don't have one and you want one, just come find me at Stampin' Up! Convention next week.
If you go through the link above, you'll receive 10% off your first order and I'll get a discount on my next order, so we both win.  Here's what is so awesome about my cards.  First, they're called mini cards and they're printed on really thick paper that has a satin feel with a smooth matte laminate.  That sounds high tech but when you hold my card, you'll say,"Oooooh, yes."

I'll show you all my business cards (the fronts) first and then tell you how I made them.

Here's the back of all the cards:

The dimensions of the card are:
Width: 920 pixels
Height: 420 pixels
Resolution: 300 dpi

I made the card images a little bigger than what Moo requires just so I could move the card around in the Moo template if I needed to, just to be on the safe side.
I used the Sunset Serenade Digital Kit (item# 124229) and Sunset Serenade Stamp Brush Set (item# 125754) and the following FREE fonts: Firefly Castle and CK Jot.

The finished mini card is 2.74" x 1.10".  Small and cuuuuuuuute!

So, create your cute business cards in MDS or another editing program then go to moo.com and simply upload your designs. Easy!  I've purchased two different sets of cards so far and I have yet to be disappointed.  Once you get yours printed, be sure to give me one.

Oh, the font with "done" is called Mr and Mrs Popsicle.

  3. I think you have really great designs on your business cards. It really shows how artsy you are, and it gives your potential clients an idea of how you do creatively. I think this is a fantastic idea to attract clients, and it can also serve as a form of advertising for you and your business. :)
