Welcome to our (the 2013 Artisan Design Team) new monthly blog hop! Whether you're starting here or coming from Erica's page, I'm happy you're here. How this hop will work is that each month there will be a different theme - sometimes it'll be a stamp set, set of colors, accessories, whatever. We'll all create a project in blog hop format so don't forget to look at all 10 projects. This is now more awesome for you! In the comments section of my blog, you can participate in this theme and post a link to your project using our same theme. Then everyone can see what you've made too! The one thing you can count on is that our projects will be fancy! Over the past year, "fancy" became our word to describe the best projects, the best new clothes, even the best pedicure colors. Now we want to share with you our take on "fancy" each month.
Last month we offered a giveaway to 1 person who participated in the challenge. The winner is Lauren Reeves! Here is the link to her blog post: http://ofcreativityandart.blogspot.com/2014/09/fancy-friday-album.html
For the challenge this month, use the sketch above. You can interpret it however you'd like.
I'm excited to see what you create!
Now, on to what I created...
My good friend, Heather, inspired this gift bag.
I made it so the card is also like a tag in the front pocket.
Now it won't get lost.
To make the Very Vintage button Crushed Curry,
I smashed it into the Crushed Curry ink,
sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder on it,
and then used my Heat Tool.
Fancy!
How adorable is the pocket insert?
Don't forget to make your flag wavy by curling it between your fingers.
