2012 Artisan Design Team Projects for October #1

It has been really hard for me to wait this long to eat this beauty. I had to create the tag and then take a picture. TORTURE! 

I should win an award for lasting this long. I'll eat this *healthy* treat right after this post. It's mostly apple so it's healthy, right? Right.

Glimmer paper did NOT come in my Artisan box this month but after you see all my Artisan projects you'll think that it did.  I have recently become addicted to fallen in love with Glimmer Paper.  I'm not sure I'll be able to stop using it.  Seriously.  Get ready for a glitter/glimmer fest.

Do you know how to color glimmer paper?  There are probably a lot of ways but I only use two different techniques. (Not at the same time - separate times.)

1. Apply ink to a sponge dauber and then apply to the glimmer paper.  You will get glitter on your sponge dauber.  Who cares?  Now it's cuter!
2. Put about 30 drops of reinker in an empty spritzer bottle and fill the rest with alcohol (leave about 1/4" of the bottle empty.)  Then spritz your paper.  GORGEOUS!

I can tell from our Artisan projects this month that many of us had the same sort of inspiration with the products in our box.  So, even though you'll see a repeat of an idea, you'll see different ways to do it.  You'll see what I mean.  Did you notice that on my sidebar I have a link to all the other Artisan blogs?  You can see their stuff whenever you want from there.
